Great Rivers Country covers 33 counties on the western and central part of Illinois from Galena to Cairo. Our Office is one of four Regional Tourism Development Offices in the State: Great Rivers Country, Chicago and Beyond, Land of Lincoln and Trails to Adventure. The four Regional Tourism Development Offices, including ours, work with the Convention and Visitor Bureaus that are located in their respective coverage areas to promote tourism for the State of Illinois.
